Little January is a small, family-rooted brand created by me, Zöe — with plenty of help from my little girl, Eva.
Growing up, celebrations were a big part of life, and cards were always at the heart of them. I was taught to open cards first, to slow down and appreciate the handwritten messages and the thought behind choosing just the right design. Cards weren’t just cards — they were connections, memories, and tiny pieces of love that you could keep long after the event had passed.
Becoming a mum only deepened that feeling. Suddenly the small, cosy moments felt bigger and brighter. I wanted to create things that captured that warmth: the glow of birthdays, the joy of little traditions, and the comfort of making memories at home. That’s the feeling I hope is carried in every order, and that the recipient feels that quiet magic that only comes when someone has really thought about you.
Our cards and fabric banners are inspired by the everyday moments I treasure with Eva. She’s my little sidekick — sticking labels on parcels, giving her honest opinions on new designs, and reminding me to keep everything joyful and fun.
Ben plays a big part too, cheering us on behind the scenes, supporting my ideas, and helping get orders out the door when life gets busy. Little January truly is built with love from all three of us.
